Breathing HomeBreathing Home attempts to bring to life a kinetic structure that brings practical and aesthetic values of natural ventilation and lighting systems. The emphasis is on the hierarchy of openness and closeness of space through hydraulic hands as shape transformers. The sensation of residing in nature on a treehouse, which breathes the same as a living being through a process of contraction and expansion allows the dwellers to experience the concept of home as a part of a natural process. The structure includes a tree box on top that turns soil into a sponge for rainwater storage that supplies the necessary water access.
