Tehran, the Day 100On the 100th day of the Woman, Life, Freedom revolution, the streets of Tehran, the capital city, are empty of protesters, and the government has continued its oppression. Hundreds of people have been killed, and thousands have been detained. The revolution has been limited to a bombardment of online discussions, calls for regaining the streets and resharing footage from the early days of the uprising. This project depicts the contradiction between empty urban spaces and active online platforms via a VR installation. The installation allows the audience to walk around a map of Tehran with a smart device to view the invisible.
